The most psychedelic, strange, performance-art prophet in the Bible. Ezekiel is a trip. Keep worship weird, that's what I say. He's also so full of hope you can practically drown in it.

The Book of Jeremiah has some of the sweetest, brightest Gospel in the Old Testament—In fact, it's where we get the words "New Testament." This is the story of the most miserable prophet in the Bible giving us the greatest hope. Also, it contains everyone's favorite Bible verse (29:11) Pastor Frank will try not to completely ruin that one for you.

You need to be reminded of the Gospel, of grace. Otherwise, you'll slip back into feeling condemned all over again. There's a reason Christians are so fond of crosses—if you're following Jesus, there's one in your future. But it's what lays beyond the cross that really matters.

What bad news do you need to understand before you can hear the Good News? No one is interested in hearing the solution to a problem they don't think they have. Also... ZOMBIES and a little Fire & Brimstone.

If you had to take a piece of paper and write down what you believe, what would you say? If someone found your note in a hundred years, would it do them any good? What is the Gospel? This sermon will help you with this.

It's a good bet that you've never heard a sermon on 1st Corinthians 14—not all of it. Here's a question: what do you do when you come across a chunk of text in the Bible that you don't like?

The Bible is clear, we are to love one another. What’s not so clear to most of us is how to do that. What love actually is. This is a sermon on probably the most beautiful chapter in the entire Bible—1st Corinthians 13. It is challenging, convicting, and very, very comforting.

The church is the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit gives each member gifts, powers, abilities, and roles that all come together to benefit the whole body. We're talking HOLY GHOST stuff here: Word of wisdom, knowledge, faith, prophecy, healing, miracles, and yes... speaking in tongues. If you're a Christian, you have spiritual gifts—the question is, what are you doing with them?

The Lord's Supper. Benefits and Warnings. God uses things in His creation as means of His salvation. Stuff. Objects. He uses the water of baptism, and the bread and wine of Communion to objectively apply the grace, forgiveness, and salvation of Christ to us. It’s tangible in time and space. But for the true spiritual benefit, it has to be received subjectively by faith and followed with faithfulness.

Kemper teaches on Romans 6. "As a Christian, you have been freed. The question is: will you walk in that freedom by faith? We are no longer under sin's power."

A deep look into 1st Corinthians chapter 9 on Father's Day.
Why was St Paul an amateur apostle?
What does the Bible say about preachers making money off the church?
What does it really mean to "be all things to all people?"
Is that actually a good idea?

You have been set free from your old life. You have been set free from the power it had over you—free from the penalty and wages of sin. But your freedom isn’t only for you. You’ve been set free so you can worship God and love people.

Imagine if the claim of Christianity was that Jesus was alive after the crucifixion because He is in heaven. Would that news have rocked the world? Would we bother celebrating Easter? No. The claim of Christianity is that Jesus came back from the dead IN THE FLESH. In His body.

That's the hope of the Christian faith, too. Not to die and go to heaven. Listen to this message and be filled with the true hope of Christ.

My religion says some things are sin. I talk about one of the most controversial of these this week. I understand that your religion might not say the same thing. Your religion, your belief system might line up with popular culture, you might understand the Bible differently than I do—you might not believe in Jesus or God’s Word or any of this stuff at all. That’s fine. You don’t have to.

You can continue believing whatever you want. I’m not going to try and force you to believe what I believe.

Can you say the same? That you won’t try to force me?

You may not agree with what I say in this message but I hope you can at least admit that what I said is fair.

What if Christians are "woke?" What if a Christian won't call sin, sin? What if they get offended when someone brings it up? How are we supposed to treat people in the church when they tell us to "mind our own business? HERE'S THE REAL QUESTION: How long will God put up with us if we keep doing the same sin over and over? Also, this is 1st Corinthians Chapter 5, verse by verse—on Mother's Day. Bet that hasn't been done before.

If you think you know everything you need to know about the Gospel, you make it nearly impossible for you to learn anything new. In this line-by-line teaching of chapter four, there are a lot of challenging ideas. There is also some wonderful comfort. The Gospel is like that.
